I have three projects that I am working on all summer.

Grind #1: the "9-5"

I work in a chemistry lab at my college, attempting to synthesize a molecule found naturally in sea sponges that will hopefully have similar beneficial properties in humans that it does in the sponges. I start between 8 and 9 (usually), and go home between 3 and 9. It is really fun and interesting to me, and my lab friends make it bearable on the bad days.



Grind #2: Running

I try to run every day, as I am planning on running cross-country for my school in the fall. This is the first time that I've ever been serious about getting in shape for anything, and so far it's been going okay, especially when I don't play b-ball and sprain my ankle nineteen times.

It is July 4th.

I slept last night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

At 3:30 a.m. I decided to start playing poker.

It is now 8:30 and I am taking a break to eat, shower, and clean up around here. There are a bunch of little bugs. I think I need to throw out the trash.

I am going to drink later today. This should be interesting.
